Karen O'Donovan is trained in Collaborative Law as an alternative means of dispute resolution. In Collaborative Law the idea behind it is to allow a couple to reach an amicable reasoned decision without going to Court. The process is confidential, private and usually conducted over a number of months. However, it can be much speedier than the Court process and less invasive on Family life for children. Children can be helped and facilitated through therapists who would also work with the couples on the fringes of the discussion that is taking place in relation to the assets and welfare issues.
Karen O’ Donovan is also trained, has a diploma in family law from the Law Society of Ireland and is keenly interested in the well-being of children when couples are separating.
